After Singapore, this time the focus will be on Australia, covering fiscal and legal implications, as well as immigration procedures for businesses. The event will provide a comprehensive overview of the opportunities and regulations for Italian companies interested in expanding into this country.
The workshop will offer a detailed overview of Italy and Australia, with a particular focus on an economic comparison between the two countries. The general economic situation will be analysed, highlighting key production sectors and potential investment areas, with a specific focus on the state of Victoria, Australia. The economic, commercial, and fiscal regulations in Australia will be discussed, outlining various business structures and corporate forms, such as Limited Companies and Public Companies. The incorporation process and post-incorporation procedures for companies will also be explained, providing details on how to manage corporate tax and international taxation for businesses. Specific tax aspects, such as GST (Goods and Services Tax) and PAYG (Pay As You Go), will be addressed, along with the fiscal implications for income from employment in Australia. Additionally, the workshop will offer insights into how to set up an offshore business within the context of the TSS (Temporary Skill Shortage) programme, and the process of applying for the Global Talent Visa, outlining opportunities and requirements for employers and skilled workers who wish to move to Australia.
