SGS & Partners, a partner of Horizon Consulting Network, took part in the UK-Italy Business & Investment Forum 2026, hosted last Thursday at the Embassy of Italy in London and centred on the theme “The Italian Momentum: Insights for Global Investors.”
Gergana Ivanova and Jalal Nasri represented SGS & Partners during a day designed to present Italy as a key destination for international capital, institutional investors and companies looking to expand in the country.

The forum brought together a qualified audience of business leaders, investors and institutional representatives, with a programme focused on some of the most relevant topics for the Italian market today: the macroeconomic outlook, foreign capital attraction, private equity, infrastructure, venture capital and the experience of UK companies that have successfully scaled in Italy.
The event opened with Marika Cioffi, who presented Banca d’Italia’s macroeconomic perspective, followed by Aster Thackery, who framed Italy’s positioning as an increasingly attractive destination for global investors. The following panels looked at where capital is actually being deployed, bringing together voices that do not often share the same room: funds, infrastructure players, venture investors and companies.

The forum was convened by ITA London – Italian Trade Agency and the Embassy of Italy in London, under the patronage of the Consiglio Nazionale dei Dottori Commercialisti e degli Esperti Contabili.
For Horizon Consulting Network, the participation of SGS & Partners is another sign of the network’s ability to play an active role in key international business platforms, supporting professional connections, cross-border dialogue and new opportunities between Italy, the United Kingdom and global markets.
