Zaragoza at the Heart of Europe’s Industrial Strategies
On May 22nd, Zaragoza became the epicenter of strategic discussions on the future of industrial investments in north-eastern Spain.
The initiative, hosted by Horizon Consulting Network in collaboration with our trusted partner, brought together Luis Ena Vinués, Alfio Mancani, and José Luis Villacampa Varea, who engaged with Javier Martínez Suárez, Director General for Economic Policy of the Government of Aragón, to discuss the region’s ambitious economic development plans.
The dialogue extended to leading private sector representatives, including GRUPO MLN (Jose Maria Cester Beatobe) and Grupo DKV (Jaime Navarro Serrate), with a focus on the transformative potential of Aragón’s multi-billion-euro investment initiatives.
Aragón is rapidly emerging as a hub for renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, and sustainable logistics, attracting significant international attention.
The meetings highlighted a shared commitment to building an inclusive, forward-looking industrial ecosystem, where collaboration between public institutions and private enterprises — from Spain and abroad — will play a crucial role.
Spanish companies also reaffirmed their strong interest in Central and Eastern European markets, particularly Poland, which continues to generate promising opportunities across multiple sectors.
